Ghostwriters, editors, and researchers

Let's get this straight away. Most of us have a ghostwriter, editor, or even a research writer that stands firmly behind us in your efforts to create something unique to place on our blog.

Even if you're a great writer, getting a new fresh perspective and implementing it into your content can significantly improve your work that you're putting out in the world.

As a matter of fact, this article you're reading right now was handed over to my ghost research writer/editor to be expanded on before I share it with you. It doesn't mean I have a lack of confidence in my knowledge and experience. It only allows me to get a very clear picture of the ideas I'm trying to share. If my ghostwriter and I both understand the ideas that I'm trying to reach you with, then I'm pretty confident that we've done a good job and that my thoughts will be shared with my audience in the right way.

How many times have you been in a situation where people simply don't understand what you're trying to say?

It sounds completely clear to you, but once you put your thoughts into words, people start having problems with understanding it.
When it comes to ghostwriters, editors, and researches, they're a sort of a second, backup voice. Your thoughts and words get filtered through another perspective, so the end-product could be fresh, understandable, and relatable.

What if my writing is not good enough for starting a blog?

If your lack of confidence in your writing skills has kept you from starting your blog, please take the time to reconsider the whole thing again! If your gift is cooking, storytelling, video making, or anything else you're passionate about and you want to share your ideas with others, you don't have to beat yourself up for being a bad writer.

What would happen if writers would be feeling bad about themselves all the time for not being able to create the perfect cover for their books? It seems pretty clear that they will need to hire someone who will be capable to do the work they're not very good at.

It's pretty sad to imagine how many stories, experiences, and lessons would never be shared with the world if writers decided to quit before even starting, just because they felt like they're not able to deliver the full package.
Starting a blog has many different elements, so the articles and content that are visible are just the final product. This is only more proof that we all need each other. To quote an old saying:

"Everybody is a genius.

But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
Create your article and ideas, put your words down on paper, and handle it to a writer who will be able to give your words the exact sound you were looking for.

How to make the best of your writing?

The good thing about writing is that you can get better at it. Just like with any other skill, even if it doesn't come naturally to you, you can always work on it to achieve more. Since you want your blog to be a mirror of your ideas, personality, and knowledge, I would recommend you to at least try writing your thoughts down.

And how to do it?

Write your stuff down on paper or use your computer, notepad, or whatever it is that you feel most comfortable with. When you're at a stopping point or finished with it, move to something else and come back later to reread your written content. It will give you a clearer picture of the parts that need to be adjusted, corrected, or deleted.

I use this method all the time. I write an outline of an article and wait until the next day to look it over. And boy, how it only looks and sounds different!

I sometimes even think my brain was seriously misfiring since I was getting lost in my thoughts all the time. But you know what? I'm completely fine with it!
The whole point of this "putting your written words down and moving on to something else" method is not the creation of a perfect piece of content.
Let your mind explode and explore, so the next time you come back to it, you'll know what will be useful and what not.

Trust me, these two simple steps will make your writing much better and clearer. And it will make your ghost writer's job a lot easier! When you first start writing. it's probably going to be in mixed up sentences and out of order (or as my uncle would say "Forgetaboutit" ). And that's where the rereading and our dear friend called "copy-paste" come into the picture. They will help you to put your words and thoughts in the right order.

I want to use the opportunity to share a story with you.

I have a few friends whose native language is English and they all speak and express themselves through their words flawlessly. During our conversation, I sometimes make some mistakes and my dear friends like to correct me on what I just said and without missing a beat, I back the sentence a bit and say the correct words.

To be completely honest with you, I love it!

I don't look at it as constructive criticism, but a great help offered by my friends. When you know what your flaws or disadvantages are and you get comfortable with them, it's easy to improve yourself in any area of your life (including your speaking or writing).
I will also use the opportunity to explain why I sometimes have difficulties with getting my sentences right. A few years back I was smacked by a drunk driver and spent a few years in the hospital relearning how to talk again. And today I'm a pretty happy guy and I'm proud of all my achievements and victories, regardless of how big or small they are.

Find a ghostwriter who understands your vision

As mentioned earlier, you don't have to feel ashamed or bad about needing some help with your blog. There are plenty of people who are looking forward to working on your projects and sharing their writing skills with your audience.

You can find a ghostwriter for any type of online business.

Whether we're talking about a blog, YouTube channel, ebook, social media sites, or any other form of online content creation you can think of. There are plenty of websites that work as platforms that connect writers with people who needs help with the creation of their written content. Some companies have a set amount for the written words and some have a per word count. Besides price, this is what you should keep in mind as important when you're ordering your content on such sites.

The most important thing is to find the right person for the job.

And let's be real, you'll probably need to put in some effort to find the right person. Sometimes it takes a lot of energy and at some point, it can even get frustrating when the person (the ghostwriter) on the other side is not understanding you completely. Don't get surprised when you find yourself in unpleasant situations, as they may occur from time to time.

Here's an example of a non-match that I experienced.

I sent an article to a writer about health, wellness, and positive energy. She wrote me back, trashed talked, and blocked me on the site. I could be offended by the whole situation, but I decided to keep a positive attitude about it.
If that's how this particular writer deals with stuff, I'm glad she got out of my way. Losing a writer who you don't agree with just means you're one step closer to finding the right one.

When it comes to blogging, a lot of things you'll going to experience and learn will be just by trial and error.
But once you find the person (or multiple persons) who become your business partners and an important part of your written content, the whole story gets amazing! Even now, as I'm writing this, I remember my wonderful ghostwriter who is backing me up and will be reading this and designing it to flow. Beautiful stuff.

There's another thing I would like to share with you. Don't be judgmental about your writer's age.

You'll be surprised how many people are passionate about the same things as you are and they'll put all of their knowledge and skills into your articles.
I have a tech guy in Malaysia who's in his thirties, a story writer in India who's twenty-seven, and a couple of writers all across the world who are doing an amazing job, regardless of their age.

They give my content a fresh perspective and it allows me to see how every topic can be approached from multiple angles.

I even met my business partner 22 years ago, back when she was 18. Although I'm old enough to be her dad (or even a bit older), that was never an issue. We respect each other and have the same vision when it comes to business. We had the chance to create amazing stories together over the years.
And that's what I want you to keep in mind.

Step out of your comfort zone and don't judge a book by its cover. You'll be surprised how many doors will open for you once you decide you won't attach any social labels to your business partners or in this case, your writers.

Time to create amazing stories with your ghostwriters!

Don't let the lack of experience in writing keep you from starting your blog!

If you're reading this article, it only means you already know what your gift is and what you're passionate about. I hope this will be the final push you were looking for so you could finally dare yourself to live your life to the fullest!

Now it's time to start searching for a ghostwriter that you're going to create amazing stories with.

Remember that the best part of this type of business partnership is that you're not only working on projects together, but you have the opportunity to connect with people all across the world that become much more - you become great friends.

And there is no doubt - your audience will feel such a strong connection through every written word of your content.
